I am a father of 5. 2 are grown and on their "own". I suffered a severe heart attack 6 yrs ago, which, at the hand of a doctor who misdiagnosed me 2 times in 3 days, left me with a considerable amount of damage to my heart. I was not expected to live even just a few more minutes back then.
I live on $960 Soscial Security Disability and some food stamps. I have Gas and electric shut offs pending soon. I have managed to get by for 6 yrs, but now I am in way over my head. I dont even have enough money to file Banlruptcy as a relief...the Food stamps only get me to the 3rd week of every month. I now have numerous medical issues and have to use a power wheel chair most of the times when going out..such as doctors, stores etc. While the insurance paid for the chair, they didnt pay for the vehicle or electric lift to transport the chair. Needless to say , with gas prices where they are , I am hard pressed to even afford the gas I need. There is no extras, just needs. Some of these need include medication co-pays, supplements i have to take due to the depletion of vitamins, nutrients from some meds I take. Electric to run the Aircondioning in my house because I get very ill in just a few minutes in temps over 80 and humid and also my CPAP machine that I have to sleep with it on at night or anytime i fall asleep, food, I dont see well without light ( I dont drive at night so I am almost always home ). There is so much more,
The bottom line is I am in dire need of some finacial help. IF everyone who reads this could even give me $1 it would be a help.
